Artist Profiles on the AANC Website
AANC provides its members with a profile and links to your website. This is an opportunity for sharing your artwork with people who might like to own it.
Here’s how it works for you:
- Submit your information (see below) for posting on the website.
- Include the AANC website address (www.artistsassoc.org) in your email signature, website, business cards, brochures, wherever you promote your artwork.
When people ask for a website where they can see your work, give them the AANC website. If you don’t yet have your own website, this is a good one to use. It shows professionalism and has the added benefit of letting people know you are part of an established artist organization.
Submitting Your Information:
Send the following via email to Annie Johnson annie@AnnieJohnsonPhotoArt.com:
- Text for your profile – Artist Statement and/or Bio
- Photo of you in a jpeg file
- One image of your artwork in a jpeg file (72ppi and 1200 pixels on the longest side gives sufficient quality for the website and keeps the file size down to less than 2mb.)
- Links to other sites where you and/or your work can be seen (Examples: your website or blog, FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn, websites for galleries where you show your work)
If this all seems too technical for you, think of it as training for entering the digital world, which is the direction that the art world is going. Get a friend to help you. For questions and assistance, contact Annie 970-587-5001.
