Shows

The AANC sponsors a number of shows, classes, lectures and other art related activites throughout the year:

• Sponsors an annual national show which has grown to become one of the most respected juried art exhibits in the U.S.
• Sponsors several all-community shows per year giving every artist the opportunity to display their artwork.
• Holds monthly informative lectures and demonstrations by guest speakers and artists.
• Organizes art workshops and demonstrations.
• Informs the membership of local and national shows to enter by a monthly newsletter.
• Provides scholarships to promising high school and college students in the Fort Collins area.
• Contributes to an education and art center fund.

Celebration of Color

The AANC Celebration of Color Show is in the spring of each year and is a juried show for local artists. Watch for the prospectus here.

National Exhibition

The Artist Association of Northern Colorado holds its National Art Exhibition and Sale from early April through mid May. Visit the 19th National Art Exhibition and Sale at the Lincoln Center (417 W Magnolia, Ft. Collins) April 3 through May 7, 2010.

You are invited to attend the Reception/Awards Ceremony on April 10th 6:00pm to 8:00pm (Awards Presentation at 6:30pm). You will meet the artists and hear the Juror, Frank Francese, NWS, talk about why he awarded cash prizes to the winning artwork. Come to a demo by Frank Francese on his exceptional watercolor paintings at 3:00pm prior to the Reception. Price is $20 in advance, $25 at the door. See his dynamic artwork at www.ffrancese.com.

Capture the County

The Artist Association of Northern Colorado is pleased to feature the "Capture the County" art show each October.

Small Artworks Show

The "Small Artworks Show" features miniature art from the local artists. The show is held each November at the Reader's Cove.

Member artists display their works around Ft. Collins throughout the year. Many coffee shops and other public areas feature an AANC Artist of the Month.
