Shows
The AANC sponsors a number of shows, classes, lectures and other art related activites throughout the year:
- Sponsors an annual national show which has grown to become one of the most respected juried art exhibits in the U.S.
- Sponsors several all-community shows per year giving every artist the opportunity to display their artwork.
- Holds monthly informative lectures and demonstrations by guest speakers and artists.
- Organizes art workshops and demonstrations.
- Informs the membership of local and national shows to enter by a monthly newsletter.
- Provides scholarships to promising high school and college students in the Fort Collins area.
- Contributes to an education and art center fund.
Celebration of Color
The AANC Celebration of Color Show is in the spring of each year and is a juried show for local artists. Watch for the prospectus here in early spring.
National Art Exhibition and Sale
The Artist Association of Northern Colorado will hold its 21st Annual National Art Exhibition and Sale from from Saturday, April 21, 2011 through Friday, May 15th, 2012 at the AANC and CoCOA galleries, 142 W. Oak in Ft. Collins, Colorado.
You are invited to attend the Reception/Awards Ceremony on April 21st 6:00pm to 8:00pm (Awards Presentation at 6:30pm). You will meet the artists and the Juror, Betty Carr. Come to a demo by Betty Carr from 2:30pm to 4pm prior to the Reception (see more details). Price is $20 in advance, $25 at the door (pre-register online). Capture the County
The Artist Association of Northern Colorado features the "Capture the County" art show each October. The show is open to all artists, including high school students.
Small Artworks Show
The "Small Artworks Show" features miniature art from the local artists. The show is held each November at the Reader's Cove.
Our All Media Small Artwork Show and Sale will be held at Reader's Cove and Half Moon Bay Coffee Shop, 1001 E. Harmony Road, Ft. Collins, CO from November 16, 2011 through January 3, 2012. Juror is Heather Coen, an instructor and award winning artist working in oils, painting landscapes and still life's.

Member artists display their works around Ft. Collins throughout the year. Many coffee shops and other public areas feature an AANC Artist of the Month.
